    Sorry I don't know, this is the first time I've bought them (and then googled them afterwards!). They seem to be used a lot in hanging baskets so I guess they'd be safe there?
    Weirdly the only thing I've noticed getting totally decimated in my garden, by slugs I assume, is a chili plant.

        Pretty pics, @pitter-patter as usual. I expect you keep your Cuphea sheltered indoors or in glass-house in the winter? I've never seen one.

                Actually it is the black-eyed Susan vine, aka Thunbergia alata, 'Sunny Suzy Rose Sensation', the 'pink' variety! Much more suited to my garden than the original yellow/orange varieties, such colours being banned or hardly tolerated in my palette...
