            @DiggersJo I just threw it in for free - is it a capsid bug? Not that well up on bugs! Did look it up, but did not get far.

            ... seems there are other flower bugs.... I'm pretty sure it was the latter that had a bite of me last year....

            Ahh I see what you are saying... Size is everything, so knowing your flower what size would the bug be? Your GS is 6-7mm, a big boy! My little bug(ger) is only 3-4mm.

              Common Mallow, growing in the spaces between the paving stones in my front garden. And honeysuckle; there is a great deal of this on one of my boundaries, and the scent is becoming very noticeable in the evenings. 2024-06-02_13-40-14_cropped.jpg 2024-05-31_08-29-23.jpg
