@pete our agapanthus are still in young buds. Lovely to see your plants with the blue which we love.

Yes, I do like that one as its a good dark blue.
It slightly darker than it appears in the picture.

Cosmos - this is the first time I've noticed those amazing little stars at the centre. 2024-07-13_09-58-04_cropped.jpg

Yes, @Escarpment - those stars in the Cosmos are amazing. My profile photo shows one of mine, the first time I'd seen them too.

But to all isn't that want we are doing...looking at close up of flowers and really into the inner parts that we don't register as we walk pass our plants. Fabulous photos from so many people and so many different flowers.
Brilliant and keep the thread going.

The very elegant flower of fuchsia Tom West originating from France in the 1850s but introduced to the trade much more recently under the current name. The variegated leaves are fun too... looking forward to my small plant getting much bigger.

I have a question of identity of a climbing shrub in my garden, which has produced just one flower.

Still, some of the roses just provide pleasure - even to some of us who are colourblind.

@RowlandsCastle yet another plant that doesn't want to grow in our garden. We did have the white one given to us by a fellow gardener in the village many years ago. It did OK but never spread and then one year gone.
