Small Teasel which grows all over my garden. I don't know why as I've never seen it anywhere else locally. When I moved in, it was growing in a patch of hardcore that the previous owner had put down in preparation for a patio he never got around to, so maybe it was imported that way. Anyway, the bees love it, and it's easy enough to pull up when it's in the way.

Lily "Stargazer". The centres of the lilies are all full of the recent rain, perfect for the insects to have a drink.
