Some blooms of my three Mirabilis Jalapa plants, grew a few from seed last year and kept the corms overwinter nice and dry and now have flowered about one and half month early which is clearly worth doing.

They were super easy to germinate but took a while to flower. They remind me of my childhood in Greece where they are used quite a lot and tend to survive in the ground and come back next year.

But can anyone identify this please. The flower size is slightly larger than the Creeping Woodsorrel (7mm instead of 5mm)

Another sort of oxalis, I think, @RowlandsCastle . Could be Oxalis articulata, which grows all over the place in Ireland as a garden escape.

Nigella - I found these growing along a footpath and collected some seed. This is the first flower to emerge.

A fancy Echinacea I bought last year, which has survived the winter planted out in the garden

Just took a walk down the garden to find the new Myrtle I planted this year has finally started opening its flower buds. I've been watching those buds for weeks!

Wife planted some Zinnia seeds, of varying colours. This is one of the unusual ones.

Daucus carota. I'd love to know why a lot of the flower heads - particularly later in the season - have a red central flower...
