      @Liriodendron RHS says that only that flower produces the nectar. Doesn't answer your question but intriguing.

        @LunarSea beautiful photo. We used to have borage self seeding and just loved the brilliant blue colour. Then we didn't have any. Used to use the flower in a starter of red grapes (from the garden seeded) and melon in a vinaigrette. Lovely.

              Not an actual flower but the leaves of the Chinese yam are so beautiful as the vine climbs up and into our very old bramley apple tree.

                      My first ever Hollyhock flower. I took the seeds from a patch growing as pavement weeds on a nearby street. Only one plant came up, and I presumed it lost when the neighbour replaced the fence it was growing beside. 2024-08-23_15-24-17.jpg
