Coal on the Beach

    I can only recall finding coal close to the West Somerset Railway rather than on any BC beaches (and good stuff it was too - made me wonder how it got from the train to the field beside the track where we were picking blackberries).

    I've picked coal off the beach at Lyme Regis some years ago. Whilst our daughter was collecting sea shells we picked up enough small pieces for a free fire when we got back home.
