Beautiful pics. That yellow stuff brought back memories, I fell in it as a child - very prickly. Don't like it much, probably for that reason!

Looks like above West Bexington (that pond between Gorselands and the village is a very distinctive shape). I've heard there's already a few Mackies about, but probably too many Plaice bashers about tossing their beads out at the moment.

                      Lovely pics Zigs! :)

That'll be gorse Lynda and yes, it has the most painful thorns of any plant I think. It smells wonderful though and the whole island here is smothered in yellow at the moment. :)

I stopped in a few places along the road. Seen a few fishing camps along the chesil already, as Robbie Williams sang, I can feel it on my line, pulling on my trace its a real big plaice :heehee:

About another week or so before the main flock of Mackerel come thru :fishing:

Is it misty there today, it is here, just waiting for a ship to go past the window and to hear the fog horn

No, it's clear and sunny here, wouldn't be surprised if mist rolled in though, yesterday it was sitting on hill tops and hanging around in some of the valleys.
