On the subject of ground coffee, how long does it actually last if sealed? Isn't it more a case of it actually no longer being at its best after a few years, rather than actually expiring? All the ground coffee I keep in plastic tubs smells like new, and I really fancied a cup of traditional Cypriot coffee this afternoon. Got a sealed pouch of it I just opened and that smells fresh too, even tho the Best Before date was in 2016!

If it's not mouldy I'd drink it.
But then I drink most things.

You really need a coffee maker , i know where you can get one cheap .

I don't think it's necessary to buy expensive machines just to make a cup of coffee. I use ground coffee and one of those things with a plunger inside it, and proper cow's milk. The coffee you get from those machines in shops is horrible.

My step-daughter is a coffee addict and she uses a one cup Cafetiere.

Yeah, I've got one of those, but the coffee is cold after you have waited for it to brew, just seems a lot of messing around.

I only wait a about 30 seconds, I don't like it strong, and I warm the milk as well.
I should think a machine is a lot of work too, especially cleaning it.

I have a Keurig, k-cup pods. I also bought the reusable pods. I fill those with a coffee I like, and have both caff and decaff on hand. I think milk in anything is an abomination so I can't comment on what would taste great. I have had some of the flavoured coffees when I bought a variety pack and enjoyed them. But then again, they were sweet and everyone knows I like my sweets

It takes only a few minutes to fill a dozen pods and those last me quite awhile.

Two spoonfuls into a mug, fill with water and enjoy. This is really nice stuff. The airtight, sturdy jars are good for all kinds of things (sweets and baking powder and raisins and spices)(separately) or can be recycled.

That's what I'm I'm using now, have been for some time, but after a while you need a change.

I put it in the microwave 1m 30sec on full power, comes out ok but I put milk in as well.
I can drink real coffee black but I draw the line with instant.
