Cold Frame advice needed

Hi Newbie so you got yours cheaper than �£14? B**ger!

The lids were a bit of a problem don't seem to fit as good as I would like, thought it would have been better to have a hinge on them instead of that drop in lid.

I haven't tried hitching the lids up yet to see if they 'stay' in place just made it up and placed it somewhere until needed out of the wind.

Thanks John I know what you mean about Ed my two old ladies keep leaving very unlady like things in our garden which I have to collect on my slug hunts....strange how the slugs like their pressies!

Hey Helen. I've got it. The answer to slugs. You've heard of beer traps. Well I just patented pooh traps. You have to tie a mallet above a pile of.... let's call it dog manure, and when the slugs chew through the string..... boing. That slug is an ex slug. This time next year we'll all be millionaires. I'm going to give the royalty rights to the members of GC. :D :D

Well just like Newbie I'ave been using my new cold frame and I am pleased to write that my cape daisy cuttings are rooting so well that they are coming through the bottom of the pots.

Everything else like the lavender & the fushcia cuttings look good and alive although no roots coming through the bottom as yet.
