    Yep, frost here, although my sweet peas seem to have survived and I planted some petunias out and they seem fine as well. I think the garden being sheltered helped...

    Oh, only ten? Not that bad then...

    Doesn't seem a nice summer is all that likely though, which is a shame.

    Hands up who planted out stick beans yesterday and saw them a ruined mes after a frost this morning... doh!

    I got a -3 reading in the greenhouse but all the tommy toes are OK !!

    I had to scrape the car windsceen this morning, cant remember ever doing that in May before.

    Luckily I had a few plants with tender shoots covered with fleece, but most of the larger stuff is just having to get on with it.
    I hope its no worse tonight, or there will be many dead new shoots by tomorrow morning.

    I've never planted toms or runners outside until late May and in some years its been early June if its seemed chilly.
