@BeeHappy - just one of those lucky accidents  but I'm loving Physostegia virginiana so I've just planted three white ones that came today from Clare Austin Plants. The butterflies love the phlox.

Very much a happy accident @alana
I have an Obedient plant too "Rosea" not as striking in colour as yours -
        1Physostegia-virginiana-rosea1.jpg
but it's in a rather subtle pastel plant combination bed that i add Cosmos Picotee and "Purity", Verbascum "Alba" and Foxglove "Foxy" too and i like the mix there- :)
Lovely choice with the Phlox they are such pollinator magnets indeed ...and we can never have too many of those i say ;)

@BeeHappy - you're choice of plants is similar to mine - I go for the pollinators as much as possible and prefer the simple open flowers.
I love cosmos and my pots are filled with them. I looked at your pictures and the cosmos stand out for their sumptiousness. Such an underrated flower with so many different colour arrangements. I love the subtly striped ones. The foliage is beautiful too. With saved seeds it's like being blindfolded with a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get.

Some things are too good to keep quiet about! They knew the world needed to see your photo shoot!

Just found it via a Google search for 'laughing bee clip art' and it seemed suit you...!
Alana, just been googling cosmos and you're right, what a beautiful flower. Is it easy to grow from seed? Have to have some cosmos!

Thanks Bee Happy, and an excuse to visit Wilko!! Best shop ever. There isn't one near me, so I always have a list for or when I do make the pilgrimage. Wish they would open in Glasgow. Cosmos seeds are now on my list. Really beautiful - been looking on your link, thanks.
