Its not hardy for starters, so you need to overwinter cuttings in a min of about10C.
Its fairly easy to grow, and root.
If you like I could send you a couple of cuttings.:)

It grows to about 12-18 ins in the summer and spreads to about 12ins.

I've grown 80 Coleus Black Dragon for part of a flower bed this year, I was asked to grow it again as despite the dismal summer last year it did really well. There are a lot of new varieties around now including the green/red/black Kong series. :)

Gorgeous heuchera Peter - mine didn't return for a second year.

Maybe bigger than you were thnking, but I love hamamellis for it's foliage - fresh lime in spring/summer, fading through the rainbow in autumn. Bronze fennel is a good one, and i like tellima in the shade to brighten it with it's light yellowy green leaves.

Will see if I can find pics...

:D:D:D - my mum found this out Nutty - but TOO LATE ! - she is still plucking bits out from all over her rockery!

I love the bluey/purply/black foliage of sambucus nigra - Black Lace Elderberry - with the added bonus of lovely contrasting blossom. They seem quite expensive specimens to buy though.
