    :)

Tweaky and Nut..............I find your posts somewhat obnoxious .
Many an interesting thread has been ruined by your stupid remarks.

I am sure you could find somewhere else to play.
I am not a new member either.

WOW I haven't noticed that at all I take most things with a pinch of salt (Not good for my cholesterol...:D) I find Tweaky and Nuts posts more humorous than "obnoxious" which is probably what there meant to be;)

I have not recalled anything to get in such a huff over. If there was something from anyone, I would have called it at that time and moved on. Of course some of the English slang here is new for me, but I find that challenging to figure out and quite humorous when I do.
I really enjoy this form and all the folks I have met here.

Well, I don't know, I definitely expressed some objection to one of your recent posts, Tweaky, is that the problem?... attacking new members out of the blue to vent off whatever bugs you is poor sport, me thinks. A new member asked a "daft" question and you roar at him (her?) like you own the place and basically say to sod off. I beg your ****ing pardon? As I understand this is an essentially public forum, and as all public forums it is bound to have a fair share of complete beginners, whose very nature IS to ask "daft" questions. We asked daft gardening questions too I guess, in our time. I surely did. A good forum is a great way to exchange, share, pass on experience. If you cannot live with this aspect of a public forum what can I say, found a new one exclusive for expert gardeners, with clear rules regarding the level of experience you expect from the members and the standard of their contributions.
    Talking of which....
I am a relatively new member. Of course I have a third or so of your posts to boast, since I tend to write *mostly* about gardening topics... this brings me to commenton Roders' post. It may be a bit harder than necessary (imho), but I do agree. I dearly love joking and smiling, but I do come to GC to discuss gardening... not virtual pubs, not fake auntie horoscopes and most of all not pages upon pages upon pages of ... of ... of ... english words missing, and may be the italian frasing would be a bit too vivid. Humour is the spice of life, but I don't see why half the threads must become completely empty of any real content in favour of "humourous" exchanges. I do not resent your most "humourous" threads but they really haveno interest to me and I really do not think you are in a position to protest about what other people are writing, asking or complaining about in this forum.

    Ivory,

If this is in refference to the comment I made and Tweaks backed me up on entitled 'stopping grass in its tracks' then I sudgest you get a grip (putting it very mildly so as not to get edited).

The guy who posted it shouldnt have to ask sutch a blindingly obviuse question if he is advertising to be a profeshional gardener.

Paul and Tweaky I agree completely with what Ivory has said I don't care if complete novices ask daft questions you should tolerate them we don't need the superior attitude, Paul you hand out sound advice and I hope you contine to do so,Tweaky you have swept the boards with your brand of humour sometimes it's funny but creeps in on most posts so the exchanges between you and nut get a bit boring,we are in danger of forming cliques and that would be a shame let's keep it together and have respect for everyone.

Walnut can I have confirmation wether you mean that Tweakies humour creeps in on "most" posts or that the humour AND the exchanges between Tweaky and I creep in on "most" posts? Most by definition means "greater number" and I totally object to that accusation...im off to count threads against my input on them :)
