    "Ivory,

If this is in refference to the comment I made and Tweaks backed me up on entitled 'stopping grass in its tracks' then I sudgest you get a grip (putting it very mildly so as not to get edited).

The guy who posted it shouldnt have to ask sutch a blindingly obviuse question if he is advertising to be a profeshional gardener."

Nope, I was talking of THIS thread:

    http://www.gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=16691

I have not looked up the grass thread, My grass is going everywhere so I did not feel qualified to give advice, may be I will go and TAKE some!:D

    No problem, Ivory.

A nobody had come on the grass thread and hijacked it with criticism of my advice so I was a bit touchy.

Pro, I don't know the details of that particular discussion, but in general, professional gardenenrs and amateurs (especially the best amateurs ;)) disagree on everithing when it comes to gardening. It's just SUCH a different approach, most of the times. I am an amateur gardener, but I have worked for and with professionals on and off for a while, and I can very well understand both sides of the discussion. We will just have to tolerate each other (including ivy and such pests) :D:thumb:

Walnut, I dont have any attitude i merly openly speak my mind unnlike the often frequent body of folk who agree with me but for one reason or another hold back. Pms sent to me every now and again confirm this.

I dont come on here to make any freinds, although since joining I have made a few!!! I simly try to give my opinionsn and advice.

    Interesting reading.
Does not change an inch my opinions expressed above though. None claimed to be a professional in the thread that I mentioned, so I find no excuse for THAT. Sorry.

Pro Gard, I hope you appreciate the difference between the two situations.
