I've had a peek at my leaf mold that has been sitting for 2 years and it is doing quite nicely, now that the leaves have all broken down to a compost substance, is it ok to tip all this in the composter bin and mix it in with all that? Or should the compost and leaf mold be used separately?

I'd use leaf mould on it's own, it's great for mulches at this time of year.

In the past I've used sifted leaf mould as seed compost, it worked well for me. Yes good as a mulch.

I'd just put it straight on the soil where you want it. It will work well as a mulch and won't hinder any compost when you spread that. No need to do two separate jobs of putting it with the compost and then spreading. Anything for an easier life! :blue thumb: :)
