Looks good. Gras cuttings from mine and next doors garden go into the hen run. Together with their pooh it gets raked into their soil and eentually transferred to my raised beds with compost from the daleks.

I have 3 compost bins and they are rotated.
    Year one, fill one.
Year two, leave one to rot and start filling 2nd.
Year three, leave two to rot, fill three and use number one
Year four: use number two, leave number three to rot and fill number one. :coffee:

I need to pee in my composters but I am overlooked from both sides. The shed is about 100m away so thats out of the question. I'll have to build some kind of screen near the composters and keep a bucket there!

Sounds good. Does that mean your compost is 2 yrs old when you get to use it. Or have I missed the PLOT?

Yes :) One year to fill, one to leave idle (decompose). But, that it is only the very first two years that you have to wait because with the rotation, once the first two years is out of the way, you have fresh compost annually!

        Oh dear, no class! :nonofinger:
(She should have poo'd in a bucket first and then emptied it onto the heap! ) :heehee:

Hope she didn't use it on her veggies
