I have G Pay on my phone, and have been behind people faffing about for hours with the phone to pay for a sandwich. My son-in-law who is into everything technical, and his mates, have tried Apple pay but most say swiping with a plastic card is far more practical.

I don't have a choice about electronic paying - no phone. :heehee:

I've never had a worry about lost or stolen cards and never use a cashpoint. :noidea:

Yeah must admit I never have my phone locked, dont even know how to lock it.
Think I would find that too much messing around lock, unlock all the time.

Same here really. I dont think Ive eaten in a pub or restaurant for over 4yrs and this would have been my 1st fish and chips this yr. That is the only take away Id ever have anyway. At least you can see it frying in scalding fat. Ive never trusted Indian or Chinese or Kebab takeaways for some reason. I think Im probably just neurotic.

Use it all the time and it’s very convenient for me! You don’t have to unlock the phone to use it but the screen does need to be active, ie just press a button so it lights up like you would to check time or if you have a message waiting.
Then it’s the same as using a contactless card. You can go into the G pay app to see past purchases but it isn’t itemised, just where and the amount.
