    Good morning I am just wondering how many members do you think we need to carry on with the Macro Photo comp up to now we have 5 members,we need a few more I think:smile:

                      But the GC Macro Competition was previously limited to only plant like stuff until Jan this year, and it was only then that Insect macro shots were allowed, which is why I've now suggested that a whole load of other macro subjects are also permissible.

                          I'd like the comp to continue even though I seldom seem to find the time to post these days.
                          In so far as subject matter goes, I'd be happy with any natural object and a definition of macro within the context of the competition as a photograph that focuses the viewer's attention on aspects of the subject that might be missed with a normal or cusory glance..
