That’s down to shops control system, if a parent can’t control their kids cable tie them to the trolley ( the parents that is and let the kids do shopping that’ll teach them )
Shops have a duty to control shoppers on their premises, if they don’t it gives you an insight as to how the managers run the shop

I have just listened to an interview with the former speaker of the house Lady Betty Boothroyd regarding the situation we are all in now...I have nothing but massive respect for the lady ..
Dear God I do love our senior folk, their forthright opinion is what we all should strive for yet you get the dim wits that think they know best...they are an embarrassment and I'm ashamed that people just will not take heed .
Tonight I'm clapping for all our services and for our older generation who are made of damned better stuff than the likes of us..:love30:

Just tried to access the B&Q website - I was put in a virtual queue - I would have been able to get onto the website in 39 minutes and there were 145888 people in front of me.

            I went to Wickes instead.

Got my letter from the government today.
How can they justify sending this out now, it's basically 3 weeks late, contains absolutely nothing new, and seems a fairly good way of spreading all kinds of virus.

If I go down with measles again, (last time was 1962), I shall know who to blame.

It went straight in the bin.
As I assume most of this pointless exercise will.

500 caravans turned around at Junc. 27 on the M5

Next week, when the government tell us that we are properly locked down, remember it is cretins like those caravaners that have brought it about.

EDIT 13/04/2020 - it appears that the original link to this story was removed, and that it was subsequently found to be a convoy of caravans belonging to travellers, with one of them overturning and blocking the motorway. Regardless, they should still not have been travelling

Caravan convoy crash on M5 prompts angry response

We are planning an Easter Sunday party with the family around Europe. All dressed up, mascara found, dusted and applied, competitively fancy nibbles/ dinners depending on the time zone. :)

What makes me mad at the moment is the lack of understanding what the lockdown is doing and what the numbers mean. (Disclaimer- the numbers are just representative, not actuals. Nobody has actuals. ) At the moment, 3 weeks after the lockdown started we have around 60 000 confirmed cases. Three weeks ago it was just 10 000. So, at the moment it is 6 times more virus out there than three weeks ago, i.e. much more dangerous to go out.

This is just because it takes some time for the virus to multiply in hosts, spread, and the hosts to get symptoms. But the reality is that the risk is very much higher now than it was three weeks ago. (And obviously, if we didn't do the lockdown the figures would be much, much higher )

However, many people seem to think that 3 weeks has killed the bug or diminished the risk. Manchester police dispersed 600 parties. My friend asked me for a coffee in her house. The neighbours have the parents over every day.

Honestly, please. The virus is out there, the risk is at least six times bigger than 3 weeks ago. It's not over and will not be for a long while. But the lockdown is a necessity, it's working, and we must continue with it.

On a positive note, the environmental impact is amazing, Himalayas visible from India and so on.
                          Happy long weekend everyone! :)
