Well, West Yorkshire Police didn't as they have apologised for their officer's "well intended but misinformed" actions. :dunno:

Its just that I thought he mentioned something about 20 mins earlier, and she said he had already been shopping, but was going out again.

I think it's only half the story.;)

      His half.

This 6 month extension to MOT's that fall after 30th March. Doesn't this mean that from October 2020 for 6 months there will be double the normal number of MOT's for garages to deal with? Will they be able to cope I wonder.

Probably - there was clearly a discussion before the camera came on, however she does clearly say on camera that he cannot play with his kids in the front garden because of the lockdown and that is directly in contravention of the law (and also what the police force apologised for)

Well the front garden doesn't seem to have a fence/ gate etc.
So my guess is, yes in the front garden but also going out into the street.
I'm willing to bet there is history there, and its probably not the first episode.

Police probably just apologised to stop it escalating.

I have just found out that someone who lived about a mile from us has passed away from Covid-19. It's closer than we think.....

We have two train lines in Algarve, one East to West and one South to North. The South to North passes behind us about 300 meters buffered by orchards. I thought it had been rather quiet of late ... there is always the fast train to Lisbon at 7.30am, a 'whoosh' sound. There are about 6 trains up and 6 back. Trains (like planes) can only operate between 6am and 11pm. Upon looking on the train site, there are no trains to/from Algarve due to Coronavirus. The East/West is operating limited service, three a day. You can catch a glimpse of the train in the background (not in this pic). On a rainy day ...

It's so hard not to judge. At this point of time we really don't need any communal negativity.

The elderly couple in the corner have their grandkids over today. Grrr. Grrr. Grrr. GRRRR!!!!!

Thanks, I feel much better already. And thinking positively, we'll save on the Christmas card costs this year :heehee:

On another note, has the order of smilies changed recently, or did I overdo my wine over the lunch?

Those big ones were added. If Admin could move them to the end (or the "large Smileys" TAB) that would be appreciated

There were a few smilies that were missing (broken links or missing files) so I put new similar ones in place. They are slightly wrong size wise, but reducing them any further made them look absolutely awful. Oh, and the tongue-in-cheek one was @Loofah's request. I'm happy, within reason to add smilies if there is a desire to.
