            You're not old @shiney .....it people like my Dad that I really worry for as this is really not on the same playing field as flu, and God knows we all know how bad that can be for our elderly folk too !! I worry every winter about bringing him even a common cold.He has an appointment at the hospital next week to check on him after some surgery he had back before Christmas. He has been once since then to see another related consultant and he was quite happy with his progress. In the mean time another appointment from the original Medical Team came through for next week. I am trying to convince him to cancel it as the waiting room for that department is sooooo tiny sometimes there is standing room only!!!:yikes: I am really hoping they might phone up and cancel it. It's also about traipsing him although a huge hospital when he never ever leaves the house now....in fact the last appointment was his last outing, so really his immune system will be very low.

              @Upsydaisy It certainly sounds as though he should avoid going to the hospital. Are you able to phone up and ask them whether it's advisable?

                                Agreed but I can't remember the last time I saw a public loo. The only places I see accessible loos are at supermarkets and railway stations. :dunno: I still have a copy, somewhere, of the 'Good Loo Guide' - it's 55 years old! :old: :hate-shocked:
