Come come. Here we are trying to live through a world pandemic. This is all totally new to us. Scientist and medics are like a quirming mass in the bottom of a bucket. Seriously researching and looking for some kind of saviour. So with this latest, should we now distance ourselve to the rear. ''Warning'' I have just broken wind, sorry.

In my mind I hadn't squared that with the shelves continuing to remain empty ... but maybe the first time bakers found it was remarkably easy and entertaining for the kids and so have made it part of their routine ... just like Mums did back in the days when I was a kid :) so No Flour on Shelves is a positive outcome :dbgrtmb:

Along with no pollution, wildlife doing not-seen stuff - Yosemite absent humans has Bears moving about without concern, those Goats that invaded Llandudno , reports of rare species of birds being seen on migration routes for the first time, ...

            I had a passing thought ...

South Korea has negligible numbers of cases because of mass testing, and then imposed self-isolation. Plenty of "why didn't the rest of the world do that" commentary in the press ...

... but as a consequence they have zilch in the way of herd immunity. When the world comes out of lock-down how will they fair then?

@Scrungee - quite relevant to this thread the Myxi virus kept big rabbit populations under control.

I was brought up on an arable farm. On big fields rabbits hardly venture beyond the headlands (the first 5 or 6 yards around the field) - this is where the tractors turn for spraying etc so crops are pretty thin there anyway. When you try grow wheat in a very small area it becomes an easy target. Same as on my allotment and yours I guess, we have to have rabbit proof fences to keep them off everything.

Same here, we hardly use it, we don't eat much bread. But I do make a lot of crumbles, we have rhubarb crumble 3 times a week currently. I use almond flour for that, it is and always has been available on Amazon and is a healthy substitute for those on a low carb diet.

I'm left agog at the latest tweetery from Donald. I assume that he's happy for the populace to be culled in favour of putting people in to the workplace to try and avoid economic impacts? (I'm desperately trying to be polite here as I know trumping on Trump upsets a few)
