No I'm not either....but perhaps if they themselves could actually catch him in mid flow then a few harsh warnings...not being allowed entry to the shop even maybe could put a stop to his awful habit. Worth a try!:blue thumb:

I was surprised at the lack of loos available to the public when I visited. Yes, all of the tourist attractions have them and places like Covent garden (for 1 or 2 pounds cost) but the take aways and food shops didn't seem to have any facilities available. Over here, if you serve food, you must have a public loo and thee are strict regulations about their maintenance. Many of our stores also have them available as well.

Now, that said, in my opinion, the cleanest and most plentiful public loos can be found in New Orleans. They must have a secret policy that if your loo isn't clean, you will be beheaded or something! Even places that were run down dumps with fixtures that were poor man's quality had extremely clean loos.

The nicest loo I've ever visited was in London at the Athaeneum club. :)

So @CanadianLori good loo guide obviously more up to date than yours @shiney.

Yeah public toilets have always been pretty awful in the UK, even on motorways you feel you have to buy something in the restaurant if you want a pee.
As for charging people, that is downright disgusting, its something we all use and do, so it should be free.

I went in my local Morrisons yesterday and there was a stack of loo rolls right in the doorway, then loads more on the shelves in the usual place, no shortage at all.
There was one bare shelf, but not sure what that one had on it, something I never buy anyway, so wasn't bothered, might have been ready meals.
