On the lacal news tonight, Sussex police fined god knows how many people today, along with road blocks to catch people going to Brighton.
Why would anybody want to go to Brighton, its a shite hole;)
Sussex plod seem to be one of the worst, obviously trying to make up the shortfall in speeding fines.

I think when you look at it 215,000 cases out of 66 million people, most people dont know anyone who has had it, if it wasn't for the TV most of the country wouldn't even know it was happening.
Little wonder people are getting restless.

Yesterday the neighbour's were celebrating ve day, which was very good for them and some were taking social distancing seriously but some wasn't, with them having visitors and some congregating all together with the chairs all in a row.

Sorry to hear that Spruce, it seems to have hit some areas hard, but other areas not so much.
I was talking generally, and you have to admit when you look at the figures the lockdown is having more effect on people than the actual virus.

I'd also like to add that everyone seems to think there has to be a vaccine?
Other viruses and diseases have been around years ago and there was no vaccine, I can remember when there was no flu vaccine, but now its almost criminal if you dont have your jab every year.

Well, it seems that lockdown ends at my garden fence - - next door sounded a bit busy when i was upstairs ten minutes or so ago, so I looked out the back window to see six or seven blokes in the back garden. Funny there is only two blokes and woman lives there as far as I know

And here too @Fat Controller weve just been on our hours walk and walked past numerous houses with people all sat drinking in gardens some having barbeque etc and one we know is a nurse and has a stay home stay safe poster in the window....practice what you preach spring to mind ....they do a fantastic job I know but need to be careful. My sons girlfriends mum is also a nurse and his girlfriend text me asking if she could come and sleep over for a few days because she hasn't seen my son since start if lockdown ....i said no i know it's hard for them, but i never allowed her to sleep over pre lockdown so she isnt starting now, i said i cant imagine your mum being very happy about you asking she said it was her idea ...and she has also been socialising

People are now acting as if lockdown is over:

One resident in our street has had different visitors each day for the last 5 days, and lots of people are now in and out of friends/neighbours houses/gardens.

Yesterday the residents of a nearby street put a (stolen) "ROAD CLOSED" sign at the entrance to their street and held a street party. Elsewhere people had chairs out on pavements.

People were leaning into front gardens to take food, including a child who put her hands on the same gate as numerous others had done that day, she might as well have licked all their hands.

The vaccine is going to take about 18 months before it's ready.

My next door neighbours took a fence panel out so that they could all mingle and use both gardens, then in the evening some others came round and they all sat in the garden till about 11pm.

Well, first we heard Boris was going to ease the lockdown slightly on sunday night.
Before anything else could happen the kranky woman got in there saying what would be happening in Scotland, and then the Welsh and N. Ireland leaders got in there laying out their plans.

Would actually be nice to know what is happening in England?

But then of course, England doesn't have a parliament of its own, does it?
