I think what he said was that you can now use your own judgement on whether or not you meet people but if you do you do it safely. Changing the Slogan in a short two word message to Stay Alert was a mistake as the interpretation of that was not/is not clear so there should have been an explanation as briefly as possible and in a common sense way what "Stay Alert" meant. I have no intention of not shopping safely, taking all the precautions and washing my hands after any excursions for whatever reasons. I wear the surgical gloves and I clean all Shopping Trolley handles with a Disinfectant soaked small sponge that I carry around in a plastic bag that fits into my coat pocket. But I speak to my Neighbours out in the open at the required safe distance so I'm already staying alert by using my own judgement as to what the restrictions will allow me to do without endangering myself or other people.

Definitely getting busier out there. Who'd be a PM eh? Just can't keep the masses happy! So many people saying how wrong he is for trying to get the message across that you have to take at least some responsibility for your actions. The Nanny State has been around too long now and people can't cope with making their own life choices lol

Shame the Stay Alert message was chosen as it really is vague, even if I think I understand the message behind it...

From the little I've seen of Ms Sturgeon recently she has surprised me by talking a lot of sense and is consistent and clear, unlike the Eton buffoons we have in charge here.
