          We missed our week in the Lake District last week and are missing our week in France in July (rebooked it for two year's time) and have cancelled our week in the Lakes in September.

                  I rarely go "away" on holiday due to the expense so I'm not really feeling done out of anything. I am going to pick up a friend Monday morning to then go to Niagara Falls. We're going to zip line into the gorge. Hopefully the winds won't be too strong and it will not be cancelled. We want to go before the border opens and the Americans flood in :)

                  Mini one day trips will work for me. At least for now. You can call me a "Day Tripper"! :heehee:

                        Yup @pete it's only a 2200 foot drop. Not even a mile! :) Be a lot easier than my water skiing last summer for the first time in 51 years..

                        Today there are 51 known active cases in my region of 450K people. And I know they have been isolated. I'll still wear my mask and keep washing sanitizing my hands but I refuse to stop living :dbgrtmb:

                            It's only an hour and a few minutes from my home.(92kilometers both city and highway driving) I have my nexus card so when the border reopens I can be across in 1 hr 15min.
