Good morning I have the flu jab every year and will continue to do so,even in an normal year the queues outside all our local surgeries for the flu jab are mind boggling ,so for all those people who usually scoff at them and say they don't work, lets see what they say this year;) I think the queues will be even longer this year;):heehee:

Always hubby had to pay for his flu jab and have it done at the chemist because he's not old enough, but this year it will be free and for me.

I've never had a flu jab, was only offered it last year for the first time.
Didn't bother, I've never had flu.

Might think about it this year, as getting both at the same time could be dodgy.

Went in the local booze shop this morning, forgot the mask until I got to the door.
They were having a delivery and there was lots of toing and froing going on.
Nobody had a mask,so I went straight in grabbed what I wanted and went to the till.
I said sorry I forgot my mask.

She said, oh we're not bothering with that,..............I'll be going again.

I've got a mask, it's one of those disposable ones, but I'm being environmentally friendly and been using it for 3 weeks now.
I don't let anyone else use it so I'm ok. ;)

In all sincerity @pete, please don't think about it - DO it. I've seen the other side of not having it, and I would not wish that on my worst enemy, let alone you. Please, get the jab.

It is all a bit weird to be honest - I had to take my car to the dealer yesterday, and it is plastered all over the entrance that you have to wear a mask. In I go, mask on, to speak with a lady behind a wee bit of plastic who is not wearing a mask. "Pop your key in this bag luv" she says, and leans round the side of the screen holding out a small plastic bag......

When I went back later to collect the car, half the staff were wearing masks, half weren't and goodness only knows who had had their paws all over my car (most of which would be on the interior as it was infotainment and ECU work). It is nuts

Some very kind person left a used face mask in my front garden. I live near a bus stop, they get off the bus and dump anywhere. Seen a few discarded like this around the area.

It really does sicken me at times. People will quickly condemn animals for their behaviour. Perhaps a bit of elf scrutiny would do them good.

Locally I have seen babies disposable nappies chucked on pavements, also discarded ST's. Then there are the coughers and spitters and the snotters. Thankfully eventually it came about for dog owners to clear up after their animals. Public toilets used to display NO SPITTING NOTICES. A fairly common practice of some police officers, confronting a guy who had urinated in the street. That's a nice jacket or scarfe matey. Now mop it up. Problem solved.
