No. It's a Finnish dog so perfect in any way without a single weakness. In its spare time it drives Formula 1 and enjoys creating innovative operating systems.

I've only had real flu once and i was in my twenties.
I can only speak how it was for me. It was as though all the energy had drained out of me.
I just wanted to lie in bed and any effort to go to the wc was painful and slow.
Many people phone in to their work place and say 'I've got flu' but most of the time they have a cold.
Real influenza is a horrible experience i don't want again (fingers crossed) and i wouldn't wish it on anyone. :cry3:

I totally agree with that. It hurts in your bones and left me drained for a good three months. That said I have also declined the jab. Probably no use to me anyway as my girlfriend is one of those filthy disease spreading students!!!!

My experience with flu is a bitter one, hence I will tell anyone who will listen that they really should think about getting a flu vaccine. Definitely not to be messed with.

If the training of the sniffer dogs continues to expand it seems that it will be a more efficient and comfortable way of detecting the virus. :)

                        Tesco today....
Toilet rolls almost gone. Loaves of bread almost gone, flour almost gone, along with yeast. UHT fully skimmed milk, gone! Pasta will no doubt follow suit.

Mr S complained at Customer Services, stating that rationing should begin now and not when it's all disappeared.

But today I was guilty of panic buying. I've been on a gluten free diet for nine months, which will probably be permanent and that restricts me from eating most of what is on the shelves. What really upset me earlier in the year was those greedy people that cleared the 'Free From' aisle because they couldn't get what they normally buy. With unprocessed meat having gone too, I was left wondering exactly what I would be able to find to eat. It proved very difficult. So, today I picked up two extra packets of gluten free spaghetti. That's all, but I felt guilty taking it.

I've been watching other videos, not going to put them up here, but there appears to be a lot of pressure against what the government are doing regarding locking things down.
Its coming from not just weirdos, but people who are just looking at the virus problem from different angles and as one put it, the cure, if that is ever what it turns out to be, is worse than the problem.
When I say "problem" I mean what the government is facing as opposed to the personal effects of the virus.

Where I work we are now requiring people to do this if they have a smartphone. We have extremely few customers coming through the door but most who do, are downloading it. We have a manual option if they do not, which we then log onto the same system electronically. Apparently a million people downloaded it today. I don't have a smartphone so I can't do it but the only place I go at the moment is tesco, so I'm going to see if they have a manual system.

Having had flu a few times in the past and know just how debilitating it is I now have a flu jab every year. I usually just go to my local pharmacy in October before the winter but like most of us over 65, I have been called in to have one on Sunday at my surgery, I am going as I don't want flu again.
