I suppose I could - surely there must be some data that isn't anonymous though? If they know everywhere that someone who has had a positive test, then they must be tracking your every move?

Not sure, I just wonder if the app doesn't know where you are as such, ie. using location, but more just noting who, with the same app, you are close to.

Thanks @shiney but there wouldn't be any point in me going to bed to get to Tesco at that time.

Thanks @JWK but I don't think I would gain from the app even if I could download it. My mobile phone is ancient and never gets used.

Thank you too @Mike Allen, being over retirement age I automatically qualify for the vulnerable person register but I won't be ordering online.

That would be lovely @shiney, thank you very much. Am I allowed to do a 1200 mile round trip, or is that banned? :heehee:

Not so keen on Pizza but thanks for the offer. ;)

It's OK here in England but I don't think it is in Scotland. :dunno:

I haven't got a clue whether I can or not, the goal posts are moved so often by the government.

Unless you are a student, then you can be forced to self isloate even if you have not received an app notification, nor been contacted by Track and Trace, nor even reside in the same self contained residential unit where another person has tested positive.

"Megan Tingy, a student at Manchester Metropolitan, said: "We were getting ready to go out and looked out to security and police outside the halls. They say we can't leave."

Whatever next, blocks of flats or streets of houses being locked down with police (and army?) guarding all ways in/out because somebody in one of the flats/houses has tested positive?

Just been queuing up outside the chemist in the cold wind and light rain in the air.

From what I can make out the novelty is wearing off, its not so nice standing around in the cold and wet, unlike back in the summer.
                          Quite a few not happy.

We've had a flyer sent from the co op offering to post prescription meds direct to the home.
                            I won't risk it though..

Why not, I'd do it if I could, place I use wont deliver they say they have too many.
I've seen the online ones but after reading some of the reports I wasn't impressed.

It's a fair question.. I guess that old habits die hard.
I'll be talking to Mrs ewing.. She runs household operations here and does a superb job at it.
