Corona Virus Treatment

Food ,warmth and shelter is all we need..we just have to look after each other.My neighbour is searching for pasta..he shall search no more ..I have some and they'll have it...I wouldn't mind but I'm not that fussed on the stuff and rather eat me own leg but needs must as they say.

Wilshire Farm Foods are part of the Apetito Group who will deliver Meals on Wheels to those that have been referred as in need of such services.

My brother has had them for a couple of years now and we've booked a time that doesn't clash with his two lots of daily carer visits. His dinners always come between 12:30 and 1 pm and the really good thing is that they notify us if they have any concerns on his wellbeing too.

Can't fault either of their services at all.

My Dad prefers to place a weekly order with their Wilshire Farm Foods section that is delivered pre packed and frozen and all he does is pop it in the microwave or oven at a time of his choosing.

My brother can't ,due to his immobility issues, cope with reheating even and we needed to know that he was being checked on inbetween his two lots of carer visits so his food is ordered via their Apetito section and is delivered hot to him , they will even plate it up for him too!!

 

This tweet did make me laugh -

Just said the over 70s could end up in isolation for 4 months, ridiculous.

How the hell are they going to police that kind of stupidity.

People will be dying of other things rather than coronavirus while locked away.

 

At the moment maybe.....but watch this space.

 

Just wondering, if you go out in your car for a drive, dont get out but just have a wander down the country lanes etc. to break the boredom.
Would that still be considered as breaking the law.

I mean, will the army be out with tanks on every corner to catch an oldie out for a wander?

 

I thought that too when watching the news. It showed a few people wandering around, not in groups but with a fair distance between then and yet a drone was flying overhead asking them to return home..why??

They were well spaced out with more than the recommended distance between them.

More conflicting advice??

 

I certainly hope you are right about it not being that extreme, just tell people the facts and let them make up their own minds.

As for moving to China, well the way they are laying it out in the media it is starting to sound like a police state or martial law will be enforced.

If they start using drones like they are in Spain they can do anything.
