This makes for an interesting watch...

 

Just listening to various commentators saying that Boris has lost control of the virus - it's all his fault.

What utter hum bug - if people had followed the advice from Government - we would be on top of the virus by now.

Those who are not following the advice - they are the people who have lost control of the virus.

 

Boris has got to go for stiffer penalties. Up to 12 separate families at risk of exposure. Words fail me:

Twelve people have been fined after they were caught playing dominoes in a restaurant in east London. Police officers found the group hiding in a dark room when they entered the building in Whitechapel on Tuesday.

 

I have been watching Dr John Campbell on YouTube since May of 2020. His regular reports on Covid are informative, and provably the best source of accurate information on the pandemic. Far better than the often contradictory and confusing reports supplied by the press and news channels. He could even be a better source then GC's forum!

 

I expect the idiots who are the ones not following the rules are the one moaning about Boris.
Ok us humans don't like to be told what to do, but really, this virus is a killer that doesn't care who and how it kills.

 

I think folks often find the ‘numbers’ confusing, me included. The important thing I took from that was that folks that are vaccinated will all have some level of protection. I sometimes get the impression that some folks (and I’m not saying folks on here) assume that if the vaccine offers (say) 70% protection, then 30% are totally unprotected, not the case.

 

Many thanks for sharing this stuff with us on GC. Very informative and I like his style....I ciuld watch all of it without my eyes glazing over...

 

Daughter Amanda lives 2-3 miles away. She is using my car, so yesterday she phoned to say she was just leaving and was on her way to me. About an hour later she arrived. Delay caused by Eltham High St. being chocka blocked. She could only see that the Eltham Center/library and TK-Max were the only closures. Pavements swarming with people like flies round a honey pot.

 

Scotland announces lockdown until at least the end of January

 

Can someone explain what lockdown means.

The word has been used all along, but they keep schools open in order to get people still working, they keep saying its about education, that has nothing to do with it, but it is a good excuse.

The recent so called lockdown just seem to involve closing pubs and local shops, then they wonder why its not working.

 

Does anyone think the vaccine would be more effective if it was given to those groups that are spreading the virus rather than those who are not.
