That wasn't me, but somebody Whatsapp'd me that video clip, and I thought it ideal for a much needed return to gardening theme post.

Glad the attached mp4 file worked.

Just heard a Doctor on TV saying that during this period of isolation while staying at home we should focus on inner peace.
To achieve this we should always finish things we start and we all could use more calm in our lives.
I looked through my house to find things i'd started and hadn't finished, so I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, tha mainder of Valiumun srciptuns, an a box a chocletz. Yu haf no idr how fablus I feel rite now.
Sned this to all who need inner piss. An telum u luvum. And two hash yer wands, stafe day avrybobby!!!

You can try and boost the immune system by not drinking a lot of alcohol every day and eat a high fibre diet with lots of veg, fruit, nuts, fish is good especially muscles. Drinking alcohol a lot weekens the immune system.

                  SERIOUS LOCK DOWN ADVICE

Everyone PLEASE be careful because people are going crazy from being locked down at home!

I was just talking about this with the microwave and the toaster while drinking my tea, and we all agreed that things are getting bad.

I didn’t mention any of this to the washing machine, because she puts a different spin on EVERYTHING!!

Certainly couldn’t share with the fridge, because he’s been acting cold and distant!

In the end, the iron straightened me out! She said the situation isn’t all that pressing and all the wrinkles will soon get ironed out!

The vacuum, however, was very unsympathetic…told me to just suck it up!

However, the fan was VERY optimistic and gave me hope that it will all blow over soon!

The toilet looked a bit flushed but didn’t say anything when I asked its opinion, but the front door said I was becoming unhinged and the doorknob told me to get a grip!!

You can just about guess what the curtains told me: they told me to “pull myself together!”

My great colleague @shiney says "I find chats with the shower so draining"

                  We will survive!!

Please pass this on - gotta keep the humour going!

I agree with you that Mrs FC should not be at work. If she was furloughed in the first lockdown there's absolutely no reason why she shouldn't be this time. Lets face it, with the new Covid strains now it should be an automatic response.

You're so right @Fat Controller ! It certainly made me laugh. :heehee: Your post has just hit the Isle of Man, America and Canada - gone international.

My daughter on the island had the Pfizer vaccine at the weekend being considered a secondary front line worker - if that makes sense. I'm still waiting to hear if she's had any side effects and will report back here as soon as I do.

Well, it has just gotten worse today - back 'at risk' of redundancy, so if she now rocks the boat in terms of what they are doing toward the risk assessment and any potential furlough, where does that leave her in respect of the redundancy? Whilst furlough shouldn't be taken into account, I think all of us that live in the real world know that it will be, so once again we are between a rock and a hard place. Given that we are both key workers and thereby the very 'heroes' that people were out clapping for tonight (allegedly), I fear this is indicative as to how many of those heroes are being treated in reality - poor health and safety, lack of PPE and jobs under threat.
