Mine was done at the local surgery. Queued in the cold and rain (caught pneumonia ) had the jab after a discussion, and out the back door without any waiting.

@Selleri there seem to be idiots like that everywhere.

It makes my blood boil too. It's morons like that who keep setting us back.

I was feeling very sorry for The Teenager who was invited to a pre- Christmas presents swap event in town with her closest friends who told her that if they all claim to live together in a student accommodation they can't be fined.

We had a long talk, and in the end My Teenager decided not to go, but had present swapping events with her friends individually in parks.

Very sad when you are 19 years old and just crave to bond, meet up, giggle and hug.

I have told her to use me as an excuse, I can easily fake a vulnerability as needed so that she can just fend off invitations on the grounds that she's protecting her poor mum. Early onset of leprocy is our favourite

But yes, it's hard. Especially for the young ones who are now living the most exiting period of their lives, studying, becoming independent, finding partners or just practising with relationships.

That's all gone for now. Poor kids. But we'll be just fine in the end. Everything's gonna be all right eventually. :)

Purple Streaks. DON'T panic. These things happen. I for my part merely responded to what was before me. I apologise. Thankfully the situation is liter.

              I have removed my comment.

When I read this I thought of Fibomylagia. I had a Doctors Appointment many years ago now, I saw a Locum Doctor and said to him it's mainly about my pain and he just said, does this hurt and does that hurt there as well and I said Yes but I seem to have pain all over..then he said that is because you have Fibromylagia...just like that...I checked the condition out extensively and realised it was a well known condition surrounded by controversy in various quarters. I believe with my pain issues it was not necessary Fibromylagia, I even got as far as going to a M.E.Club Meeting with offers of some free natural treatments to try out....I have had a few periods of sudden flare ups of pain, not that long ago I had extreme pain and had Physiotherapy for several Months which was helpful but no answer and then it faded and went. I do feel quite blessed and mostly on top of the world right now. Hopefully your daughter has some turn for the better as well and soon .Good Healthy Diet some Vitamins & Mineral supplements and Most Importantly Quality Sleep and Rest... I took 5HTP at night and that made a lot of difference to my sleep pattern. Certainly have no qualifications to advice you but that is mainly what I tried to offset whatever was causing the pains...Unable to tolerate Pain Relievers beyond Paracetamol I felt like I was in between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Take Care of You....

Thank you Dianne that is what I was trying to spell but my kindle wouldn't have it.Our daughter explains the symptoms , and are as you have said .
she was if anything relieved that it was not anything to do with her diabetes.she is right of course but it's very upsetting to see her in so much pain with one thing and another .
                What are the 5HTP ?
                Thank you once again.
                Stay safe ....

Thank you so much Jenny. I don't leave our garden and I feel safe amongst the fruit trees. :heehee: Lots of Vitamin C under the Vitamin D! I don't see folk from day to day and when I do it is the farmer going along the lane on his tractor waving. T'other Half only goes out for food once every 2/3 weeks and to our post box 3/4 times a week.

I am so pleased to be out in the country. You take care too. Vxx

Had first jab this morning, didn't feel a thing.

Almost got a second jab in the car on the way back home. First wasp of the year going crazy stinging the dashboard in front of me.
