        Ours is the same, only toilet waste and kitchen sink goes into ours the rest flows through an irrigation system for the borders. We had our only emptied twice in 38yrs.

          Only our toilet and kitchen waste goes into ours and it supposedly has land drains to take the liquids from the top of the tank. Unfortunately, as we have a very high water table, when there has been a lot of rain the liquids can't run out through the soakaways and everything backs up!! We need to empty ours each year - normally before we have 500 people visiting the garden. :hate-shocked:

                  It's getting serious now, the pubs have been closed and supermarkets emptied of beer.

                  A good time to get into homemade wine @ 50p/bottle. Carton juice wines can be ready to drink in about 5 weeks.

                    I've got about 10 Demi-Johns, Airlocks, etc in the Loft, Scrungee, but I've also got a good cellar in the loft of commercial wine so I'll drink that first.:heehee::cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee: It won't be long before the Hedgerows will start supply fruit for making wine so I'll have some bags ready.:thumbsup:

                      That would be very nice as all the Rabbits disappeared last year

                      I gave up using Dynamite when I stop cutting down trees and use it to get the roots out in the 80's but tis good fun
