Cor...that was a couple of rough days after the jab. But I suppose I now know that it has worked. Talking to a couple of people - each has said that they were rough after their 1st jab but didn't have any issues after the 2nd. Everyone had AZ. So it looks like my 2nd jab should be a breeze.

Strange that we are hearing nothing about side effects for the Pfizer jab - unless the millions of people who have been jabbed were in and continue to be in perfect health (there I go again ).

I'd rather look at the data and be told what the risks are - the Pfizer jab is an unknown risk at this time.

I think there is an ongoing plan to discredit the AZ vaccine, end of story.
And the more remote parts of the world will benefit from it bearing in mind it is easier to store.
So the expensive ones are going to try and get it a bad name, before some of those places even get any vaccine.

The security at our local Morrisons has had no restrictions regarding how many shoppers are allowed to enter from a household during the current lockdown. Basically, I could go in with my wife, son and daughter and we would not be questioned. This is true, the head of security who I went to secondary school with and have been friends for 44 years told me.

B&M announced pre tax profits doubled for the first half of 2020, I wonder how much, if any of that profit was shared with the workforce?

Quote: I don't know anyone who has developed bad results through the vaccination.
Quote: We should all just get the jab, side effects are minimal.

I was talked into having the vaccine (Astra Zeneca) against my better judgement, spent two days in bed with bad side effects and a further week recovering. I have an intolerance to medicine and also vaccines it would seem. Not having had any vaccinations since I was a baby I was concerned about my response. I'm in two minds at the moment about having the second jab and in future will take my chance without.

My sister also reacted to her jab (AZ) and was poorly for a week (she was in bed and lives on her own) but despite feeling as bad as she did she also says the side effects are minimal ... compared to dying!!

Bottom line is....the worse 'side effect' of Covid is death, let's not forget this. So anything other than this, imo, is a minimal side effect/ or inconvenience.

Just a thought that has been going around in my mind..

Just wondering if those who get a bad reaction to the vaccine might just be those who are most likely to have a bad reaction to the virus.

And maybe those that have no reaction at all to the vaccine are those who would possibly be asymptomatic.

Of course it could all be the other way around.

I'd rather have an extra few hours in bed at home instead of days in an ICU bed.

I heard that women are more likely to get a bad reaction, but i also was thinking, women are normaly smaller bodyed than men but the shot of vaccine is the same, so someone with a small body is getting more % of vacine that someone with a bigger body, just me thinking and not to cause any afence to any one

                          Edit
also if you had covid and made your own antibodys then have jab with more antibodys from a different source can the 2 fight one another

I had a terrible reaction to a Typhoid live injection when I was going to West Africa (or maybe it was Yellow Fever). I collapsed, had the sweats, felt ill. Luckily T'other Half came home not long after and phoned doctor who said something to the effect of "That's quite normal, she'll get over it!" :hate-shocked: (British humour I guess). Fortunately I was fine the next day.

                                Oh Vicky, yes typically British!!

I agree that if on your own it must feel scary, fortunately for my poor sister we could all video call her so that we could actually see her to help us with monitoring her reactions. Just a voice contact can hide the real picture.

So pleased to see your side effects were short lived, and it did its job of protecting you.:dbgrtmb:
