Yes, I realised that after the fact. Also, I do occasionally venture out to an eating establishment or two ... in the country where there are few people and meet people in our bubble ... whom I hug and kiss!

Strangely my Physio was very "hands on" with me during 12 hour-long sessions, no gloves but we did have masks on.

We will go when they get this thing going.

 

Did Boris arrive by plane?
He could have taken the bus, like they keep telling us to.

Or maybe she did, and stood all the way because she didn't have a seat

 

Seen on the news, 2 world leaders doing a elbow gret then shake hands then one rubs his eye

 

I saw that ... the only thing one can "assume" is that they all had vaccines and negative testing before they decided to stand shoulder to shoulder breathing in one another's face.

 

It was so nice of them to stop to chat with the fireman, while the crash fire was still raging!
Or is the smoke from the barbecue instead?
I am a bit confused.. Perhaps the photos are in the wrong order..
Looking at the second, by that time Boris had had already lost his bottle.

 

My thoughts on 21st June.

What will happen:

- BoJo will extend the current restrictions for a further month;
- BoJo will talk about accelerating the vaccine roll out - we can't ask more of the NHS - they stepped up to the mark when the UK needed them the most and are giving their all;

What should happen:

- BoJo ends the current restrictions - the economy starts up again;
- BoJo says people must take personal responsibility for their actions - no vaccination - you choose and accept the risks associated with your actions;

In both scenarios:

- people will continue to ignore BoJo - as demonstrated by the spread of the Delta variant;
- more younger (un-vaccinated) people will end up in hospital;
- more younger people will suffer from long Covid.

The difference - the economy gets back on its feet sooner.

 

Saw an interesting documentary on the Royal family yesterday. If the sea got too rough when the Queen was travelling on Britannia - a helicopter would take her off the yacht and to her destination. Prince Philip stayed with the yacht - the rough sea didn't bother him because of his naval back ground.

Just so no one can say I'm going off topic. The Queen and Prince Philip let the media know when they had had their covid jabs.

 

To be fair to Boris and his friends, I'm sure they have all been tested.
No different in my mind to the footballers who hug each other when a goal is scored.

I will continue to wear a mask until I feel safe not to.
