Not if you strapped yourself to the figurehead, breathed deeply and avoided the Captain's table

The nearest I ever got to a cruise was LD Lines Folkestone to Dieppe or Portsmouth to Le Havre  There was plenty of fresh air available, though, which was lucky considering the state of the interior after a rough crossing!

I always used to eat with the crew. Mainly because I was the Radio Officer!

When I was in the merchant navy they had very strict rules on who ate where. :rolleyespink: They had three classifications of workers - officers, leading hands and crew. We weren't allowed to to mix with the other two groups except when working. We had different dining rooms (and food) and clubs:doh:

I've just signed up for my next covid booster and flu jab on Wednesday 4th October. This is through work, they started offering the pair to all staff last Friday.

I checked with my useless Surgery, they have no details of the Covid or Flu jabs.

So I have booked online on the NHS website at a Chemist in Ramsgate, Monday 25 Sept at 9.50
