The emerging data shows that COVID attacks multiple organs and can cause blood clots all over. Blood clots have long been known to cause strokes. Putting the two pieces of info together, it's not hard to imagine that COVID can increase the risk of stroke.

Yes, ok, but I do believe that at some point during the vaccine programme they were talking about blood clots caused by the vaccine, I'm not anti vax but just trying to add a bit of balance.

@pete I remember reading that in a few places in the last 18 months but have read so many reports that I can’t remember where

Indeed. There were various complications. I can't remember specifics but I know there were even a few deaths attributed directly to the vaccine. But as tragic as they were, just in the interest of balance, there were far more deaths directly associated with COVID.

Either way, covid did a lot of damage. I reckon it'll be many years before the boffins start writing the history in a way that most of us not medical sorts will be able to fully understand.

Yes I work in as a pharmacy Dispenser and more people are coming in buying Covid tests but some don’t even wear masks or gloves and that’s why it spreads so fast

Both my sisters have caught it recently and a nephew has it too. This is in Yorkshire where it seems to be making a comeback before us oldies get our boosters. People are letting their guard down.

That’s the problem, my works tell us if we feel well enough we’ve got to come in and wear a mask & gloves, but the majority of people don’t stay at home now they go food shopping and touch and sneeze everywhere, I was so poorly in April, I had a chest infection came back to work then caught Covid off the staff

                  I've copied this
Overview: Although blood clots linked to the COVID vaccine remain extremely rare there appears to be a higher risk in people shortly after the first dose of the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine.2 Jul 2024

I'm having my jab in arm this month but it's not the AstraZeneca, i think that they've changed it.

AZ was quietly dropped, just another hidden error not wanted out in the open, but it probably did save a lot of lives as well....

I've recently turned down a flu jab, I assume they would want to corner me for a covid jab as well if I went along.
I never bothered with the flu jab while I was working and mixing with more people, these days I only meet people in the open air while out so cant really see the point.

Tomorrow I'm having the flu jab, since COVID I've started having it even though i don't go anywhere much. But i do see friends every fortnight and they see their family, so it's easily caught like that.

I was offered a covid jab when I get my flu one but I declined, because after the two I've had I wasn't able to breathe properly for several weeks. It was frightening.
After I said I didn't want the jab the doctor's assistant said "I don't blame you, I've heard horrendous stories about it."
