Checked Morrisons and had 54,417 others ahead of me in a queue, with an estimated wsit time of 34 minutes.

That's less than 4 seconds per customer, probably a wasted 34 minutes just to find out they've got no food or no delivery slots and get binned off their website so they can get on with informing the next customer there's nothing available.

 

You just need to get out there and form a queue, hopefully it wont be raining too hard, and you will feel all the better for the exercise.

Mind you, dont look like your enjoying yourself, otherwise plod will be on ya.

I've moved 2 back home because I don't want them full of stuff at my plot should the government introduce stricter lockdown (hints now being made) and everything would be wasted.

Just checked my Amazon Wish List and every single packet of seed is now unavailable, luckily I'd already bought them elsewhere, and hadn't edited my Wish List which I was using as a shopping list.

All vegetarian Tartex yeast pate sold out (aoart from some expensive small packs on both ebay and Amazon, luckily I got a 12 pack before the lockdown. When that goes it's home made mushroom and wallnut pate.

 

From lockdowned Ireland where I am ( hopefully) safe in my isolation cocoon in my beleaguered old age. .... The new laws re lockdown started Friday . One is that no one who is not resident on an island can go there, and some islands had already declared self -isolation. So when an unsuspecting yacht that had probably not heard the new laws out at sea started berthing on Tory Island.. Out rightly came the Gardaí and the Coastguards. Ferry services to one of the Aran isles have been severely limited and islanders begged not to make trips to the mainland. If the virus gets to such a confined community? Here we have one weekly shopping trip for a very few islanders. They bring the supplies in for those of us old ones who cannot go out. The response to the situation is impressive.Off to complete my email shopping list..
