Cottage garden perennials - any recommendations?

    Some fantastic recommendations there Fidgetsmum, thanks so much.

    Strangely lupins are one of the only flowers I've ever grown from seed so far and they've worked out great - I think they thrive when left outside most of the time when growing (before being planted out) I'm not sure if they're fond of being inside or in the greenhouse.

    I agree with you about 'casualty corner' I even managed to get a bonsai tree from homebase come back to life (which according to some people it's quite difficult to do) It was £3.99 reduced from £17 and it even had a great little pot, I'm so happy that I managed to save it's life :D
