Could be dendro, these beauts were taller than me ... but that's not saying much! :D :D And they were heaving with bees.

Blue echiums on the roundabout, the frost killed mine this year, just one night at minus 5, since then nothing.

Are you sure you didn't visit that beach bar LOL, that castle seems to have a bit of a lean to it.
No dont tell me, its "The Leaning Castle of Ferragudo" :D

I wondered about Echiums but wasn't sure and it took me two and a half hours to go through my 53 photos today, look, delete, upload, download that I didn't seem to have time to look in the books!

Pete, how did you know that ... hand on heart, did not visit that bar today.

Must have been the wind making me lean slightly taking the photos! [IMG]

D'ya'know, we've been to that beach many a time and I've never gone through the hole in the rock (didn't know it existed until today) nor have we ventured around the castle/fortress. But then again, we may have been there with a high tide! :D You can see how close the sea was, I was standing in the sea taking a couple of pics ... nice it was ..

The secret is, don't fly on a weekend ... used to be that if you flew with one weekend day included, it was cheap.

That has all changed now (says she who doesn't fly anymore!) and if you don't fly on a weekend you get these cheap seats ... that's what everyone tells me who does that! [IMG]

Thsy it is, my Scottish Thistle. Only took two hours to get 16 photos on Photobucket so gave up and ate dinner (from the BBQ) up on deck in the setting sun ... I know I'm rubbing it in ... it isn't Spring for three days yet ... enjoy ...

Today's journey took us to Vilamoura, where the rich and famous wander ... I went to photograph their Gin Palaces ...
