Thank you, Tiarella, for venturing into my "new world" which I like to share with my friends back home.

It's a beautiful country here and I don't want it to be seen just as the "holiday resort" thing as seen on TV holiday programmes.

I'd rather people to see it as I see it. There is so much more to this beautiful country and its people as can be seen by my Sunday outings.

    I've no regrets moving here.

Thank you, walnut. Where do you keep something that size, for goodness sake? I'm 5'3" and could stand under every bloom and look up so the tree must have been 15 foot tall at least.

I saw you again on Sunday and you were in the lead of course! I was going up and over an overpass and you were going under it so couldn't get a photo this time!

Walnut, don't you cut yours back when you bring it in for the winter months? We have always cut ours back by 2/3rds. Ours, and also the next-door neighbours which overwinters in our WG, are getting leaves, one plant actually has a flower already. When we put them out after the frosts in mid-May, then they all get a good feed and grow like mad. Kid Sis, don't you have a pic of that white one that had about a hundred blooms quite some years ago, taken out on our patio? If you can find it, please put it up. This shows how well they grow after being drastically cut back when they come into the WG in October.

This is the yellow one, I'd forgotten how big it grew as well. Perhaps only I had a pic of the white one? Please look again and I will too. It was taken from the garden toward the house. Thanks again!

Ladies yes I do cut them back but last year I pollinated late one was carrying seed pods so I kept it at 50f to keep it growing through winter pods are ok so should have some pink brugs out of them, hopefully they will not go through the top of the polytunnel before it is safe to put them outside I will have to keep the feed down

I just went up into the hills today to look for wildflowers, which will be posted shortly in Herbs & Wildflowers, strangely enough.

However, everthing looked so nice after our storms this week, so took a few shots.

Guess you don't have to be jealous of my sky today as for most of you your weather is warmer than here, tops of 17 today for us. And although it's lovely and sunny, there's a storm nearby thundering away.

Hey, I didn't know that you had Indians there LofL! I see two teepees and is that a burnt-out waggon ring about in the middle?

    Lovely pics as always.

Thank you mef750. Have to admit, it is nice here! [IMG]

No, K-G, that circle is of stones, a recreation of Stonehenge, perhaps? The wagons are on the left. We think it's some oddities living there for sure!
