Great pics Sis in spite of you even trying to share your lunch with us all this time!

Lovely one of you and Isabel up in the hills and the weather looked perfect to be out topless :D

Thank you, pete, it was a nice day and I'm loving being out in Isabel ... think I'm having second childhood ...

Actually, didn't know they were date palms. The Bougies were ace, six different coloured ones above us plus the grapes and a Nespereia (Eriobotrya japonica) Loquat tree which was directly above us but my chicken-smeared photo was not worth showing ... next time ... [IMG]

I'll get more photos of how they cut all the different palms back here ... it's quite incredible, must do mine likewise. They use a sharp machete like knife and just shave them down forf lack of saying anything else. As we have these lining the streets I guess it's a clean way of doing things. [IMG] I'll get some pics of the ones in Silves that line the main road as they have just done them ... it's perfection.

Thank you so much, ydd. I only took up photography last year after joining GC and with encouragement from folk. I'm still having difficulties with a digi camera and now t'other half has bought me all sorts of extra lenses which I haven't a clue about.

Same thing with painting ... I took that up at the end of last year ... Member's Hobbies, LoL's Leisure. I'm now also into learning about Butterflies and Wildflowers.

After ten years my originally non-existent garden is now established so only needs maintenance.

GC has opened up my world since I retired and joined ... can't praise it enough. [IMG]

PS It would help if I didn't have smudges on the lens. [IMG]
