I have had two Pfizer and two Moderna, the second Moderna being the Omicron-modified vaccine. I also got the flu vaccine at the same time, in the same arm. I was neither up nor down. As long as they keep offering I will keep taking them.

My own GP refuses to do face to face consolations at the surgery........... I booked a Covid Booster for Tuesday, there will be big trouble from me if he's there giving the jabs and getting paid extra.

Covid infections in Scotland have dropped by about 10% since last week.

Down here Covid is increasing again and with influenza, RSV and Norovirus/D&V cases also increasing hospitals are really struggling.
On Friday I received this message:
"With immediate effect we are returning to wearing face masks on all our sites (including in non-clinical areas such as corridors, waiting rooms, staff rooms and canteens)."
Also keep 1 m apart and back behind the perspex screens.
Just got used to not wearing a mask and here we go again.

@NigelJ we've had to wear masks in our hospitals for some time now, it must be about a couple of months ago that we were notified that mask wearing was mandatory again.

It has always been mandatory in medical facilities here, including hospitals, clinics/doctors offices, pharmacies and nursing/care homes. Personal choice anywhere else.

Patient facing staff have had to wear masks when with patients since October, but could remove them in corridors, canteens etc.

Patients staying in hospital can only have one visitor a day too. A friend of mine had to share visiting her husband with her son and daughter after he had to emergency surgery, this caused her a lot of stress as she only got to see him every 3rd day and he was in for nearly 3 weeks.
