Well done @Michael Hewett they're lovely, it's not easy making cards.

 

Here's another cat card which I hoped would turn out better than the first one, but I'm afraid this cat looks just as menacing. I will have to practice doing nicer cats !

 

Here's one that i made, everything was printed out and i cut out the flowers by hand, did the decoupage, stuck the glitter bits with a bit of glue.

@Michael Hewett your cat isn't menacing at all, I agree with @Balc you are an artist..a very good one.

Years ago I use to make my own cards, mostly for family... but never actually drew or painted ( then printed) my own images. I'm afraid I now feel I cheated with pre made card kits. I also did decoupage too, but again using a kit. I have a friend who makes stunning ones all of which are her own work... needless to I never sent her one of mine .

 

Thanks but no it's all printed out from the computer, my friend Keith used to do it and i would cut everything out and put everything together, he would do the inserts with a verse as well.

 

I thought I'd put a painting I did on here ...
I joined a local art group last week and did this. There's no teacher there, everyone just does what they want, and learn from each other.
It's a bit blurred, my hand shakes when I'm trying to take a photo. I tried sharpening it on my computer but it's still blurred ...

 

That's beautiful Michael, well done, i can't see blurry Ness on it.

@Michael Hewett (Hi fellow Wales person!) your painting is a delight. I wish I could paint and draw - I don’t think I have that gene. Looking forward to seeing more arty and crafty creations on here. I may be able to contribute with crafty things I do with my niece as we often have little ‘craft-a-noons’ making things.
