Im currently attempting to design some crocheted butterfly garden trellises

Im not happy with them tbh but im hoping they will look better pinned to the fence

Coming up with a crochet pattern for butterflies has been hard esp since to be a trellis it needs loads of gaps. Flowers are much easier

          Hi Dips,
They certainly look like butterflies to me. Are they to go on a wooden trellis? I may have misunderstood your plans ( re:crotcheted butterfly garden trellises) ...

Thank you. N they go on a fence or shed or wall and u can grow climbers up through them. Here is my clematis trellis with my honeysuckle growing up it

You attach them with galvanised staples or if you just want them for decor map pins work

                  Thank you

Crocheting with polypropylene twine kills your wrists tho

My one hand is slowly becoming skinnier than the other lol

I would aim for easier stuff then

The twine is horrible to crochet with its really hard and difficult

I wouldn't recommend it. Im mad for doing it
