    I don't know the answer to that Java, but I would never dream of washing anything I've worked, it would ruin it.

      Lovely tapestries Sheal :dbgrtmb:, yes I bet the 4ply wool would be difficult to work with especially looking at the material its worked on!!!!! big like that glittery thread, I hate using that it frays and knots grrr but does look lovely.

        I don't think my daughter ever forgave me for crocheting her some hot pants when she was about 9 years old.

        She has now taught herself to crochet from a left handed tutorial on the web and these are some of her first efforts - think I may get something crocheted for Christmas.

            Me too Jenny - I think I am going to give it a go. Trouble is daughter has took all my crocheting needles. Guess who it will be buying another set!!!!!!!!!

              They look quite funky - I'll let her keep the traditional ones but I can imagine her saying
              'Mum do you want your old ones back for old time sakes - I'll have the coloured ones'.

                well done to your daughter, Annie. Those characters that she has crocheted so finely will last a longtime, because the crochet stitch is quite bulky and strong.

                          these cushions are taken from the site etsy, where there is endless inspiration for creative people! I just enjoy so much looking at them, anticipating the moment when I will have some time to make something...
                          Some cushions can look nice but be impractical.
