I have been designing some new trellises for the shop and im really chuffed with how they have turned out

Here is my new Gerbera trellis. It was my first attempt at a sunflower but didn't look like one



and then i got the sunflower down so here is how it has turned out. Only managed to get it pinned up properly today so was relieved when it still looked good



I think the large sunflower may be my new favourite altho not to make.

 

Wow, they are stunning Dips. I like the large sunflower too. it will be interesting to see if any bees or butterflies settle on them in Summer,

I think they prob will be. This summer the bees kept trying to pollinate the crochet flower in my avatar. I did feel really guilty watching them

 

Im making socks :-) first one started but stopping tonight before i start the heel

Im quite excited about these but has taken ages to work out the hook sizes to use i ended up using two diff sizes which weren't any of the three sizes recommended in the pattern

An update......

I finished the above at the end of November, the pattern came together really well but I don't like the slit shoulder/neckline. It just doesn't work with the roll neck and is quite uncomfortable. I've taken a break from it and knitted this with the left over yarn for my 4 year old granddaughter to wear with leggings or tights. I'll find out if it fits on Wednesday.



Now I have to get back to my own.....unpicking and re-knitting.

I hate unpicking to Jenny but it's either that or it won't get worn. I'll be knitting the new neckline 'blind', with no pattern to follow it's down to guess work.
