That's lovely Jenny. I had one of those bees in my greenhouse today, it was huge!

The daisies are starting to appear in the lawn now so I'm making some to put on a cosy,
the basic framework:


and with the petals ( worked in the "spokes "). I'm trying to follow a Russian tutorial on u tube and I need to perfect the tips of the petals.

That's pretty Jenny. I wish I could crochet but I have some sort of mental block with it.

 

I've only "discovered" this hobby in the last year @Sheal . I'm like a kid in a sweetshop when I get onto these Crochet tutorials.

 

Clever Jenny. I know I could not do that.

 

I 've changed to a smaller crochet hook and they've become tighter and smaller. Enough here I think to put the big one on top of the cosy , and make a daisy chain around the sides,

Oooohhh they are lovely :-)

 

It,s amazing what you can do with a sliver of wood.
This is not perfect, but something I can work on.

Well thanks Jenny. Nice of you to say. The spoon thingies were finished with sanding sealer and a final wax coat. The "Block" is varnished.
